BOP Taekwon Do Academy

The Academy was established in Tauranga on August 13th 1987 by Master James Rimmer who has 26yrs experience. Master Rimmer is the current instructor of both the Tauranga and Papamoa branches, regional examiner for I.T.F.N.Z, member of the I.T.F.N.Z. technical committee and senior examiner for I.T.F.N.Z.

Tauranga branch assistant instructors are Mr.Chris Fitzgerald (4th Dan), and Miss.Hayley Rosser (2nd Dan).

The Papamoa branch was established in May 2007 and the assistant instructor is Miss.Sheri-Jane Lander (2nd Dan).

Both branches cater for around 60 students.
