6-7 March 2010 (new date)
The ITF Technical Committee will once again hold an International Instructors Course (IIC) and senior dan grading in New Zealand – this time in Summer!
The IIC will be conducted by the ITF Technical Committee:
Grand Master Hector Marano (9th degree)
Grand Master Pablo Trajtenberg (9th degree)
Master Wim Bos (8th degree)
This course will be a COMBINED AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZELAND IIC open to red belts and above.
Accompanying the ITF Technical Committee will be Master Alberto Katz, Chairman of the ITF Umpires & Tournament Committee who will conduct an ITF Umpires course on the 8th March.
This will enable members from both New Zealand and Australia to become ITF qualified as umpires (B & A Grade), ahead of the ITF World Champs which are being held in Wellington the following year. Master Katz will also be conducting a training seminar on Friday 5th March 2010 for all to attend.

What exactly is an International Instructors Course and who can go?
The ITF International Instructors Course is a two day seminar open to red belts and above. The name is a little deceiving, as it is not really a course just for instructors or about instructing. It is an amazing two days of everything to do with ITF Taekwon-Do, from patterns, fundamentals and sparring, to self defence and philosophy. Senior dans and split into separate groups for some of the seminar so they can learn their particular techniques.
The course is run by the ITF Technical Committee – three of the top Masters in the world today. They put across an informative, interesting and fun seminar that everyone enjoys. We only have an IIC held in New Zealand around every two years – so don’t miss this opportunity.
